Banner Advertisements & Link Trading with XenoCafe

If you have a personal or business web site and would like to gain some additional exposure then you can advertise on XenoCafe.com.

The Rules

All web sites and banners go through a review process prior to listing. There is no guarantee that your web site or banner will be accepted. If either is not accepted then you'll be notified of the reason. At that point you can make any necessary modifications and resubmit your web site or banner. The following types of web sites will not be accepted.

• Hacking, Cracking, or Warez related
• Illegal MP3 or Pirated Movie download sites
• Adult or Mature in content
• Libelous or harassing activities
• Any sites linking to the above listed
• MLM, Ponzi, or other get-rich-quick schemes
• Sites with an extreme number of popup's

Banner Specifications

All banners must adhere to the following constraints:

• Banners must be in either JPEG or GIF format
• Animated GIF's are welcome
• Banners currently must be 468 x 60 pixels
• Maximum file size of 25 kb (kilobytes)
• Flash banners are currently not accepted, but will be in the future

Banner Pricing for Individuals and Non-Profit Organizations

Individuals and non-profit organizations receive a limited number of AdViews for free each month. After the AdView limit has been reached, the banner will discontinue to run until the next month starts. There is no rollover, so any unused free AdViews will not be carried over into the next month, however any AdViews that have been purchased will continue to run until they are used while not accumulating free views from future months. If you would like to purchase AdViews then rates are as follows:

Banner Pricing for Commercial Businesses

Commercial businesses can attract new customers by advertising with XenoCafe. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free advertising to businesses, but the rates for AdViews are priced very reasonably. Your banner will run until all your AdViews have been used. AdView rates for businesses are as follows:

XenoCafe.com is not responsible for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or any other damages whatsoever and howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site or in reliance on the Information available on the Site, including any personal injury, business interruption, loss of use, lost data, lost profits or any other pecuniary loss, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, even if xenocafe.com has been informed of the possibility thereof.

XenoCafe.com guarantees your banner will be displayed if it is approved, but there is no guarantee that visitors will click on it. That is a risk of running a banner ad campaign.

Link Trading

If you have a web site that provides tutorials, guides, how-to's, is Linux centered, or similar in nature to XenoCafe.com, then we would be very interested in trading links with you. All you have to do is add a link to our site on your page and notify us of its existence using our contact form (see our Links page for our link information). Once we verify our link is on your page we will add a reciprocal link. Your link would be displayed on our Links page or within its future categories. If you'd like your link to be displayed in our Other Resources section of our home page then please add our link somewhere on your home page. Both our organizations can help each other by building a firm relationship and creating a community of informative sites to aid in the effort of distributing useful information.
